Damn. I am sad. I have long been a fan of George Carlin. We were just talking about him and his influence at our play last weekend. Think about his influence on comedy, and our culture today. He was one of the giants, along with Lenny Bruce, Hunter S. Thompson, yes, even to a lesser extent Steve Martin. Today, who could measure up? In 10 or 20 years, what comedians from our time would people be quoting over and over again? Maybe Eddie Murphy in his younger "Raw" phase, or Chris Rock. That's it. The geniuses are leaving us, and I feel a huge hole today left by the passing of George Carlin. A few of my favorite Carlin moments to share........

Couldn't have said it better......

Brilliant!

The only cheer worth doing!

Thanks, George.......
